Obituary
Larry Joseph Roberts, age 72, passed away at Cedar County Memorial Hospital under Hospice Care on Oct. 9, 2020, with his family surrounding him. His wife, Twyla Kay (Hines) Roberts; son, Aaron Christopher Roberts; daughter, Tara Jennett (Roberts) Henderson and her husband, Jeremy, and their two sons, Jace Tegan, and Layden Douglas; grandsons; and two granddaughter not present, Veronica Brooklyn Roberts, and Charlize Rene Roberts.

Larry belonged to the Santa Fe Trailers Square Dance Club in Buckner while living in Blue Springs.

Upon returning to El Dorado Springs, he became a member of the Lionís Club, was a member of the United Methodist Church, opened his own business, K & R Construction and Plumbing, and served five years as a Councilman on the El Dorado Springs Council.

Larry loved to golf just for fun; he painted oil landscape pictures, learned taxidermy, drew and built large scale model airplanes, and built his own duck blind boat all by hand.

Larry was an amazing man who was skilled in various trades, such as Iron Workers Union Local 10, his business, K & R Construction and Plumbing, and his cattle farm. He loved to hunt and fish until he was no longer able to in 2018. He was always willing to help or lend a hand to his fellow man.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph (Jack) Delbert Roberts and Saleta Ellen (Roby) Roberts and two sisters, Brenda Carol Tuttle and Judy Kay Wallace.
