Jimmie Albert Hunt, age 75, of Miller, MO, formerly of Golden City, MO, passed away September 28, 2020, at his daughter’s home with his family by his side. He was born in Stockton MO, on January 6, 1945, to Jimmie Raymond and Mary Elisabeth (Lake) Hunt.
He grew up in the Jerico Springs area where he fell in love with Wilma Maxine Kirby, and they were married on April 8, 1966, and they enjoyed 47 years together before she was called home. Together they had four children: Sherri Diane, Jimmie Robert, Brent Alan, and William Eric.
Jimmie was a long time resident of Jerico Springs, where he worked at his father-in-law’s pallet business for a short time. He later worked construction during building of the Stockton Dam. Jimmie would later go on to work at 3M in Nevada, MO from 1976 -1988.
After the loss of his first wife, Jimmie met Sharon Louise Tolley, and they were married October 31, 2015, in Mount Vernon, MO. They resided in Golden City, MO, for the next four and a half years together till she passed away in January 2020.
Jimmie enjoyed the peaceful life, and he loved hunting and fishing.
Jimmie is survived by his daughter, Sherri Diane and husband, David L. Reid, of Miller, MO; son, William Eric Hunt of Jerico Springs, MO; three brothers; two sisters; thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Preceding Jimmie in death were his mother and father; one brother; one sister; first and second wives, Wilma Maxine and Sharon Louise; and two sons, Jimmie Robert and Brent Alan.
