Thomas Knight Dade, age 74, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away on Thursday morning, April 2, 2020. Tom was born October 23, 1945, in Miami, FL, and was immediately loved by his parents, Albert Elton Dade and Lucy Marie Dade.
Tom was married to Becky Dade. They shared a love of life living in El Dorado Springs, MO. They enjoyed traveling, caring for their Scotty dog, Mic, and visiting and playing cards with friends.
Tom grew up being a military son following Elton’s Air Force career. Tom spent time in Japan as a young child with his parents. He graduated high school in 1963 in Omaha, NE. Tom received his degree in nursing at Fort Scott Community College and worked as a Registered Nurse in the psychiatric field for 30 years before retiring. Tom had a love for the outdoors, taking drives, and sports, especially wrestling and karate. He was proud to have earned his Black Belt. Tom will be remembered for his caring heart and unconditional love of his family and friends.
Preceding Tom in death were his parents Elton and Lucy.
Survivors include his wife Becky of El Dorado Springs, MO; two sons: Timothy Dade of Walker, MO, and David Dade and wife Cheri, of Springfield, MO; four grandsons: Aaron Dade and fiancée Kellie of Nevada, MO, Ethan Dade and wife Kayla of Nevada, MO, Taylor Dade of Chesterfield, MO, and Jordan Dade of Springfield, MO; five great-grandchildren; five step children: Jonathan Chisam and wife Jessica, Sheri Raynor and husband Zach, Rachel Baty and husband, Amanda Koehn and husband Jamin, and Shelby Anderson and fiancée Jamie; thirteen step-grandchildren.
The family will hold a private memorial service for family and friends at a later date on the Dade family farm.
