Judith Jane Appleberry, age 77, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away at her home on Sunday, January 19, 2020. Judy was born December 19, 1942, in El Dorado Springs, MO, the daughter of William A. Jackson and Alba (Masters) Jackson.
Judy married Claud W. Appleberry on January 20, 1963. They were married 50 years before CW’s passing in 2013. To their union one daughter was born.
During their 50 years together they raised their daughter on the farm and ran Appleberry Lock and Key until Claud’s passing in 2013. Judy enjoyed playing and spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Preceding Judy in death were her husband, CW, and her parents.
Survivors include her brother, JT Jackson of El Dorado Springs; her daughter, Sheryl Moore of El Dorado Springs; her granddaughter, Raynea Akers and husband Jason of El Dorado Springs; granddaughter, Kristi Andrews and husband Bob Andrews of Wentzville, MO; grandsons, Kegan McGatha and Dakota Moore and granddaughter, Cassie Moore, all of El Dorado Springs; great-granddaughters, MacKenzie Koca of El Dorado Springs and Constance McGatha of Bolivar, MO; great-grandsons, Cayden Gilkey, Kael McGatha, and Kaysen McGatha, all of El Dorado Springs, Callum McGatha of Bolivar, and Noah Andrews of Wentzville, MO; and close friend Cliff Bryant.
Funeral services for Judy Appleberry will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Burial will follow in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are: Jason Akers, Kegan McGatha, Cliff Bryant, Ron Brown, David Taylor, and Donnie Heiber.
