Beverly Ann Ellison, age 62, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away at CCMH on Sunday morning, December 22, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Bev was born on October 2, 1957, in Kansas City, MO, to the late David and Pearl Sanders.
Bev married Truman Ellison on September 12, 1980, and to this union Victor and Misty were born, joining Shawn and Jerry Sanders.
Bev enjoyed time with her children and grandchildren. She was devoted to her numerous jobs in the ElDo community. She was well known for her smile, hard work, and great personality. Bev never knew a stranger. Bev’s strong will and refusal to give up is what kept her going. Bev was known as mom and grandma to many, and always put everyone else first. Her goal was to make sure everyone was taken care of.
She will always be remembered by her quote, “Everything’s going to be alright”.
Preceding Bev in death was one granddaughter, Marli Ann.
Survivors include her husband, Truman, of the home; children: Shawn Sanders, El Dorado Springs, MO; Jerry Sanders, Carrollton, MO; Victor Ellison, and wife Jeanne, El Dorado Springs, MO; and Misty Allmond, and husband Lane, Richards, MO; brothers: Larry Friend, Keithville, LA; Phillip Friend, and wife Ann, Birmingham, AL; Warren Friend, Kansas City, MO; and Ed Friend, Independence, MO; and grandchildren: Ariel Morse, Deven Watkins and wife Rachel; Megan Applebee, Justin Ellison & Bailey; Jonathon Ellison, and Blane Allmond. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Beverly Ellison were held on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home, with Chad Daniel and Matt Boch officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Brandon Barker, Brandon Daniels, Mason Jones, Clayton Jones, Lane Allmond, and Jesse Beaty. Honorary pallbearers were: Deven Watkins, Justin Ellison, Jonathon Ellison, and Blane Allmond.
