Jeanne Ellen (Cole) Anderson, age 66, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away on September 24, 2019, after a long illness. Jeanne was born on December 27, 1952, to Roy Cole and Pearl Cole (Schlotz) in Pittsburg, KS. She grew up on a farm near Liberal, MO, until her father passed away when she was twelve. She then moved to El Dorado Springs and graduated from high school in 1972.

Jeanne married Dewaine (Red) Anderson on December 7, 1974. They were married for thirty-three years before Dewaine passed away in 2008. Jeanne was employed at Nevada Habilitation Center for twenty-eight years before retiring due to injury in 2003. She was a long time member of the Eagles club in El Dorado Springs until her health started failing in 2012. She also attended Grace United Methodist Church.

Jeanne enjoyed family get-togethers, camping, travelling, games, and a “Coke” at McDonald’s with her sister Joanne and friends. She really loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Preceding Jeanne in death were her parents, Roy Cole and Pearl Cole (Schlotz); her husband, Dewaine Anderson; her brothers, Jim Cole and Jerry Cole; her sister, Alice Hall; her sons: Steven Anderson, Ronnie Anderson, Ryan Anderson, and Kenny Anderson; her grandsons, Timothy Bybee and Blake Beerbower; and her great-grandsons, Austin Lukenbill and Daulton Newcome Bybee.

Survivors include her children: Randy Anderson and wife, Melissa, of El Dorado Springs, Stephanie Dockery and husband, Mic, of El Dorado Springs, Tracy Bybee and wife, Cindy, of Nevada, MO, and Keith Anderson, of Nevada, MO; sisters, Nancy Brock and husband, Dwayne, of Omaha, NE, and Joanne Kennedy, of El Dorado Springs; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws.

Funeral services for Jeanne Anderson were held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin McNeely officiating. Interment followed in Clintonville Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Jared Bybee, Travis Anderson, Eddie Stanhope, Danielle Shamburger, Zayne Anderson, and Chance Miller.
