Charles Lynn Kirbey, age 71, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away at his home on Monday, September 23, 2019. Charles was born September 7, 1948, in Lamar, CO, the son of Charles and Wilma Kirby. He attended Golden City grade school, Jerico Springs grade school and junior high, and Stockton High School.
Charles married Angelan Faubion on July 30, 1971. They were married for forty-eight years. To their union two children were born, Troy LaDon and Julie KaLyne.
Charles worked at Barrington for forty-four years, from February 14, 1975, to July 8, 2019. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his many adventures with his best friend, Max Jeffcoat, fishing trips with his nephew, Jay, and visiting with everyone. He adored his two grandchildren, Jodie and Brock.
Preceding Charles in death were his parents, Charles and Wilma Kirby; one brother, Edward Kirby; one sister, Maxine Hunt; and two nephews, Jay Hunt and Brent Hunt.
Survivors include his wife, Angelan Kirbey, of El Dorado Springs; two children, Troy Kirbey and wife, Josie, of El Dorado Springs, and Julie Peterson and husband, Jake, of Carthage, MO; two grandchildren, Jodie Kirbey and Brock Kirbey, of El Dorado Springs; three brothers: Robert Kirby of Sheldon, MO, James Kirby and wife, Ruby, of Jerico Springs, MO, and Ronald Kirby and companion, Sandra, of Jerico Springs; brother-in-law Rex Faubion and wife, Judy, of Puyallup, WA; sister-in-law, Jana Davis, of Arma, KS; aunt Jean Kirbey, of Sheldon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
