Sharon Ann (Green) Morlan, age 75, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away Friday, May 10, 2019. Her journey began July 31, 1943, in the first house just west of Nine Wonders Resort on Hwy 54 in Cedar County, MO, where she was born to O.L (Lee) and Jewell Itress (Fox) Green.

Sherry grew up in El Dorado Springs, MO, where she attended and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School, where she met Ed.

Sherry married Charles Edward (Ed) Morlan on September 9, 1961. They were married 57 years and spent most of these years living in El Dorado Springs. Sherry was a devoted wife to Ed and a loving mother to her two sons York Edward Morlan and Tad Kendall Morlan.

Sherry was an amazing bookkeeper for the businesses she and Ed ran. Sherry took pride in having a home that was warm, welcoming, and full of great food and music.

Sherry loved traveling with Ed and hunting for antiques along the way. Two of her favorite places to travel were to The North Shores of Minnesota and Gulf Shores, Alabama. She also loved attending any activity that her grandchildren participated in. When not traveling, she also enjoyed supporting the local sports teams.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Jewell Green and her sister, Donna Lee East.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Morlan; two sons, York Morlan of Peculiar, MO, and Tad Morlan of Willard, MO; two grandsons, Jacob Morlan and his wife, Alicia, of Marshfield, MO, and Caleb Morlan of Willard, MO; and one nephew, Rick East, of Tulsa, OK.

A memorial service for Sherry Morlan will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. The family will receive friends immediately before the service from 6:00-7:00. Disposition was by inurnment.
