Ronald married Kathleen (Fugate) Jenkins, of El Dorado Springs, MO, on March 22, 1958, and they have been married 59 years. To their union three children were born.

Times were tough for Kathleen and the children in their early years, as Ron worked very hard to provide the very best life he knew how for his young family. Ron retired after 22 years with General Motors.

Preceding Ronald in death were his parents, sister Betty (Jenkins) Fisher, and son Robert E. Jenkins.

Ronnie was an avid outdoorsman, truly loved to fish, hunt, and boat, and had a true passion for all things outdoors. Ronnie also contributed to the growth of the Ivy Bend Lake of The Ozarks Community, the Youth Center, the Ivy Bend Water Department, and the local Ivy Bend Fire Station.

Funeral services for Ronald Jenkins were held on December 18, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Ron Marsh officiating. Burial followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
