Patricia (Pati) Ann Wallace, age 61, passed away at her home on September 19, 2016 in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

Pati was born on May 27, 1955, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Hugh and Willa Wallace. She moved to Kansas City in 1960 and graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City in 1972. She married Lynn Sheek in 1972 and during their 11 years of marriage, they bore three sons. She moved to Lathrop, MO, in 1986 and became an active member of the United Methodist church. She loved Lathrop, and lived there for nearly 20 years. She lived in Cameron, MO, 2001 to 2004 and returned to Lathrop for a few years prior to moving to Kansas City in 2008. She worked at Kansas City International Airport for a number of years before moving to El Dorado Springs in 2013.

Pati was an avid church attendee and she had a love of games, particularly bridge, which she enjoyed playing weekly. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She was a patient and loving person, and she rarely complained, even if she was in pain. Her favorite quote was from Bob Carter; "Poor planning on your part does not necessitate an emergency on mine."

Pati is survived by her three sons, Mikel Sheek (Pam) of Lathrop, MO, Justin Sheek of Kansas City, MO, and Phillip Sheek of Kansas City, MO; her sisters, Lorna Ford, of El Dorado Springs, MO, Cathy Finch of Platte City, MO, and Rena Bowman of Kansas City, MO; her brothers Hugh Wallace of El Dorado Springs, Fred Huber of Kansas City, and Ted Huber of Kansas City; her grandchildren Andrew Sheek-Stewart of Butler, MO, and Tyler Anderson of Lathrop; and her mother, Willa O'Quinn of El Dorado Springs, as well as numerous uncles, cousins, nieces, and grand nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Hugh Wallace and her nephew, Alex Huber.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 2 PM at Saint Matthew's Church, 5047 NW Gateway Avenue, Riverside, Missouri 64150. Visitation will precede the service from 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM. Flowers (after 9am) and donations can be sent to the church. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pati's life. Local arrangements were under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
