Obituary Mary Louise (Julian) Lady, age 86, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away on March 9, 2023.
Mary was born on March 26, 1936, to Harvey and Eunice (Sumner) Julian, in Vernon County, Missouri. She had five brothers and one sister. She grew up mostly in Montevallo, Missouri. She attended school in El Dorado Springs, graduating in 1954.
After school Mary went to work at the Shoe Factory where she met the love of her life, Jack Lady. They were married on December 23, 1956. They moved to a farm south of Cedar Springs, where they raised beef cattle. They had two children, Dan Lee and Debra LuAnn.
Mary and Jack liked to camp and travel. They visited all the states, including Hawaii and Alaska. They enjoyed traveling outside of the US, visiting Mexico, Canada, Nova Scotia, and The Virgin Islands.
Mary was a charter member of Park Street Christian Church in El Dorado Springs. She attended Herriman Chapel Church in Cedar Springs for the past several years.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Leo “Jack” Lady; four brothers: Kenneth, John, Howard, and Cecil; and her sister, Pauline.
Mary is survived by her brother Frank and wife Penya Julian of Kansas City; daughter, Debra and Husband Gary Jones of El Dorado Springs; son, Dan Lady of Webb City; four grandchildren: Chris and wife Nicole Lady of Burleson, TX, Kyra and husband Zach Snyder of El Dorado Springs, Chase and wife Felecia Jones of El Dorado Springs, and Cassie Lady of Chambersburg, PA; and four great grandchildren: Jase Newman, Thea Jones, Trey Lady, and Tayte Lady.
