Obituary
Joe Lynn Henson, 84 of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away at Community Springs Nursing Home on Sunday, November 20, 2022. The son of Leonard Ralph and May Marie (Matthews) Henson was born in Polk County, Missouri on January 20, 1938.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife, Cheryl Lynn Henson; two sisters, Ida Mae Todd and Mary Marie Story; five brothers-in-law, Cecil Todd, Wayne Story, Jack Kingcade, Leroy Culbertson, and Jack Martin; three sisters-in-law, Nina Norman, Betty Culbertson, and Melba Kingcade.
Joe is survived by: his son, Dan Henson; his daughters, Lisa Crom and Husband Dave, Janelle Goodwin Smith, and Shelly Thomason and spouse Doug Nikodim; two brothers-in-law Jim (Cathy) Kingcade and Monty Norman; two sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Bill) Harms and Joy Martin; eight grandchildren, Mitch Todd, Tony Todd, Danny Henson, Michael Thomason, Jessie Dyal, Randall Floyd, Kylie Goodwin, and Anthony Henson; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of many extended relatives and friends.
Joe is also a veteran of the United States Military. After getting out, he spent most of his life in law enforcement. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends but will never be forgotten.
