Donna Marlene (Stephenson) Fike, 1936-2022.

Donna Marlene (Stephenson) Fike, age 85 years, of ElDorado Springs, Missouri, died peacefully in her bed on October 1, 2022. Donna was born December 8, 1936, at home in Nevada, Missouri, to parents Charles Martin Stephenson and Anna Margaret (Leach) Stephenson. She had one younger brother, Steve Gordon Stephenson, who preceded her in death.

Donna graduated from lee's Summit R-7 High School, class of 1954. She worked for Bendix Corporation as an electronics inspection lead person. Her marriage to Roy Albert Fike in 1958 ended in dissolution in 1981. Donna was the home-maker and mother to four children: Dawna Margaret Mazurak-Fike, Clara Lorinda Turner, Frederick Martin Fike, and her adopted son lion al Jae Fike.

An avid reader, Donna once owned and managed a used book store in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She especially enjoyed pursuing studies in religion, philosophy, metaphysics, archaeology, cryptozoology, and genealogy. She developed her natural psychic gifts, both clairvoyance and clairaudience, read the Tarot and wrote automatically, performing healing readings for others. Hers was a life of prayer.

Donna studied at Unity School of Christianity, and graduated from the Unity Institute of Continuing Education in 1983. She was a member of Unity Chapel, Unity Village, Missouri.

Donna worked in the paint department of General Motors, Fairfax, Kansas. She spent several years assisting a friend in her antiques business in Greenwood, Missouri, and later worked as a security officer until her retirement in 2002. She retired into the family home that she inherited from her parents in El Dorado Springs. After experiencing a massive stroke in 2012, she was welcomed into her daughter and son-in-law's home in Independence, Missouri. Donna spent her final three years being lovingly cared for by the staff of Community Springs Healthcare Facility in El Dorado Springs. She will continue to live in the hearts of her children, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, numerous extended family members and countless friends.

Donna's ashes will be interred alongside her parents at the EI Dorado Springs Cemetery, in EI Dorado Springs, Missouri. A simple graveside gathering of friends and family will be held October 19, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., to share memories and continue the loving legacy of Donna Marlene.
