He was born on September 3, 1951, to his parents Ernest Thomas Demster and Evelyn Louise Demster (Siemens) in their home in Shannon County, Missouri. In fact, Art and his older brother Bill were both born in the same bed at home. Relayed to me by his brother Claude Demster.

Vernon, MO, son Paul Demster of Miller, MO, son Travis (Bonnie) Demster of Caplinger Mills, MO, daughter Micia (Mike) Conaway of Salem, MO, son Joseph (Sarah) Demster of Ozarks, MO, daughter Susan (Dave) Riley of Miller, MO, grandchildren, 4 great- grandchildren, numerous nieces nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill Demster, sister Loni Demster, sister Grace Pelate, brother Larry Demster, and brother Ernie Demster.

Arthur worked in construction his entire adult life. He started his professional career with Hood/Rich working as a surveyor with his older brother Bill. From there he went on to be superintendent with Sterling Excavation for many years. He wrapped up his career working as an Inspector for Anderson Engineering. He worked all over the state of Missouri, making many friends in many places for several decades.

Art was an avid outdoorsman. He loved tilling and planting in his garden. He really enjoyed fishing, golf and tinkering with many projects in his garage. He was a Football and Nascar enthusiast. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
