Eva Carolyn Spohn was born on June 3, 1940 to Ernest and Naomi Blystone in El Dorado Springs, MO.

Eva grew up here and graduated from the El Dorado Springs RII Schools. She attended services when she was able at the Church of God (Holiness). She would always talk of her love for God in about all her conversations.

She worked for ACS (wives of military men) while her husband was in the military.

Eva loved to walk everywhere and visit with people as she went. She often took the OATS Bus to Springfield and would buy ice cream for everyone at Braums.

You could find her watching TV Westerns and Western movies. Her favorite program was “Little House on the Prairie”. She loved Arts and Crafts and working with plastic canvas and yarn. Preceding Eva in death were her parents. Survivors include one daughter Chrystal Spohn; three sons Craig Spohn and wife, Rose of El Dorado Springs, Leslie Spohn, and Allen Spohn and wife Debbie; one sister, Mary Zartman of El Dorado Springs and four grandchildren.
