Hazel M. Henry born May 1, 1939 to Mille and Arthur Jones, passed away March 30, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, MO following several months of illness. Hazel worked several years at Sibley and Thatch grocery store, and was known as the donut lady. She was an icon at the store and made lasting friendships.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, sister Wanda Weddington, brothers Arthur, Lonnie, Johnny and Charles and step son Dennis.
She is survived by her step daughters, Patty Turner of Pittsburg, MO., Janet Romesburg of Wheatland, MO., Pam Roby of Cedar Springs, MO. A special nephew Chris Weddington of Diamond, MO., and great niece Brianna, whom she resided with for the last few months due to failing health. She is also survived by her sister Dorthy Burk and husband Roy, of Richmond, MO., brothers Albert and wife Mille Jones of Tennessee, Donnie Jones of Lowry City, MO., sister-in-law in law Margie Jones of Osceola, MO. brothers-in-law Lyle Weddington of Lowry City, MO, Bill Henry of Chula Vista, California, along with 10 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews along with friends.
