Obituary
Michael was born in Oberlin, KS to Michael Wm. and Eva Ara Smith, Mayday, 1975. He came to live with Forrest and Elizabeth Salters on February 2, 1978. He passed away after an extended time in Compassus care.

He went to elementary school at Stockton, MO., junior high at Prairie View, Kansas, And graduated from Anderson County High School in Garnett, Kansas.

He was a member of Black Jack Church. He loved Jesus and knew he would get a helmet, shield, and sword when he left this earth. Going to church, the children’s money march, men’s fellowship, singing, and the guitar music were his favorites. He loved little children and was Mom’s right hand in the church nursery. During his illness, he was faithful to watch Eagle Mountain Ranch Church on TV every Sunday from 9:00 to 12:00 AM.

He spent his time with his dogs, cats, monster trucks, military books, race cars, his “books” in notebooks, playing Nintendo (he was the only one that found “Zelda”), music, boogi’en down with big sis’ Tammy, Robin and their friends, The lake, collecting wolf items, five are collecting, happy meals, all food and helping mom.

He was preceded in death by his birth dad, baby nice Brooke Owens, and several grandparents. He left behind his mom Elizabeth, Eva and grandma Ara Smith, brothers; Lawrence, wife, Michelle, Lloyd, wife Cynda; LeWayne; sister Nancy, husband Valentine Guerra, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, great-great aunts, great-great uncles, and loads of cousins, big sis’ Tammy and Robin, plus a multitude of friends - all will miss him very much.
