Lee Edward Ewert, age 64, of El Dorado Springs, MO passed from this life at 6:25a.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at his home. He was born January 22, 1958 in Tacoma Washington, the son Warren and Jean Ewert. He graduated from El Dorado Springs High School with honors in El Dorado Springs, Mo. and received certification in agriculture at Crowder College. After graduating high school, he worked on the family farm raising hogs and cattle. He also hauled hay for neighbors and friends. In 1978 he began working for United Construction as a surveyor building boat ramps and the access dam for Truman Lake. In 1985 he began working at Witt Printing and worked there for many years. In 2002 Lee was injured in a severe farm accident and never fully recovered from his injuries. He went on to work for Cooper Pawn Shop where he remained employed up until a few weeks prior to his passing.
Lee was a devoted brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend who enjoyed spending time with members of his family, friends and his beloved dogs Oscar, Marvin and Junior. He also enjoyed working on the family farm with his parents and his brother Roy. Lee was also known as one of the best agriculturist who started his own farrow- to-finish swine production as well as his own cow calf operation. He was a board member for Cedar County Fair and assisted with numerous agriculture actives.
Survivors include his brother, Roy Ewert and wife Lisa of El Dorado Springs, Mo; one nephew Kris Ewert and wife Abigail of El Dorado Springs, Mo; great nephew KanDyn Ewert, great niece Zarah Ewert, and great nephew Julian Ewert all of El Dorado Springs, Mo; other relatives and many friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents.
