Garry was born April 14, 1946.
He went to eternal life on Jan. 15th 2022.
Garry was an exceptional individual who will leave an impression on anyone who met him. He spent his younger years at Nevada State Hospital, before residing at the Stockton group home. He then moved to his own home with Easy Living.
Garry was non- verbal, but he could definitely let his needs be known, or if he wasn’t happy with something he would hiss at you. Garry enjoyed getting a cherry water from Sonic, sitting in his recliner listening to music, sitting outside, watching his roommate and his staff, and being able to put his socks and shoes on, and really enjoyed staff rubbing his head and talking to him. He would smile and had a very sweet smile, but also had a very stubborn streak when he didn’t want to do something.
Garry’s last year of his life was hard on him with his health, but he was a fighter and defiantly fought to live till his last breath and was surrounded by his staff who loved him very much when he drew his last breath.
He will be so dearly missed and leaves a void in a lot of hearts, but we are grateful he is not in pain any longer.
He is forever safe in the hands of a loving God.
