Bonnell Bland Huff, age 92, of El Dorado Springs, Mo passed away on December 23, 2021 at Cedar County Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on August 26, 1929 to Avery and Thelma Leonard.
Bonnell was married to Maurice Bland and they were blessed with five children. Later in life Bonnell married Joe Huff and gained 2 step-daughters.
Bonnell or Nana as she was called by many was an amazing mother and grandmother. She loved spending time with family whether it be in her home over tacos or on one of their many trips to Branson. She was an amazing cook and was well known for many of her amazing recipes, especially her apple dumplings which she made many years and donated to the ECS auction. Bonnell was a longtime member of the Church of God (Holiness) and loved to keep an eye on her pastor from her living room window.
Bonnell was preceded in death by her parents Avery and Thelma; her husband Joe; her brothers Bobby, Cletus, Ronnie, and Harold Lee; two sisters Pat and Dorothy; her daughter Regina; two granddaughters Tara and Melissa.
Bonnell is survived by four children Pam Oehring (Larry) of El Dorado Springs, Deanne Collins (Tadd) of Roscoe, Kent Bland (Kate) of El Dorado Springs, and Kevin Bland (Darcy) of El Dorado Springs; two step-daughters Bonnie Jones (John) of El Dorado Springs and Sheryl Toliver (Lee) of El Dorado Springs; 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; two sisters Sharon Poe (Mark) and Imogene Marquis (Russell); one brother in-law Van Baker and one sister in-law Betty Leonard. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will miss her greatly.
