Glen L. Koca was born February 29, 1928 to Joseph and Ada Koca of El Dorado Springs. He grew up in the Virgil City vicinity. He attended school at Liberty Hall and graduated from high school in El Dorado Springs in 1946. Glen passed peacefully at his home on October 1, 2021.
He worked for a surveying crew in Montana for two years when in 1950 he was drafted into the Army where he served two years in the Korean Conflict as a radio teletype operator. In 1952 he was united in marriage to Susan Murphy of El Dorado Springs, to this union one child Michael Koca was born in June 1965. Glen was saved in September 1974 and became a member of Union Hall Baptist Church of El Dorado Springs where he attended services until passing to join his heavenly father and loving wife forever with eternal happiness.
He worked for Producers Grain Company in El Dorado Springs for 38 years and retired in 1990. After retiring he was an avid golfer many years and enjoyed working cattle on his farm for many years. He then started driving cars for Nick Woody from 1995- 2019 so he could stay busy enjoying the work and communion with friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years Susan. Also by his three brothers Paul, Joseph Jr., and Francis Koca, one sister Dorothy Eckard, and one brother-in-law Joe Renfro.
He is survived by one sister Katherine Renfro and son Mike of El Dorado Springs, one granddaughter Raynea Koca and two great grandchildren MacKenzie Koca and Cayden Koca all of El Dorado Springs, also many other friends and family members far too many to mention. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all.
