Donna Gail (Redford) Martin, age 90, of rural Spencerville, IN, passed away at the Laurels of Dekalb in Butler, IN on Friday morning, April 30, 2021. Donna was born January 28, 1931 in Sterling, Kansas, the daughter of Rev. W.C. Redford and Ruth (Thompson) Redford. She attended Gravette Holiness Bible School where she met her husband, Donald Martin. They were married on February 25, 1951 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. After fifty years of marriage, Donald passed away on April 6, 2002 in El Dorado Springs, MO. To their union were born six children.

Donald and Donna spent their entire married lives in Christian Ministry. During their early years, they ministered on an Indian Reservation. They have pastored multiple churches including those in Nevada, MO; Clovis, NM; Sunnyslope, AZ; Rogers, AR; Maysville, AR; Gravette, AR; Kirksville, MO; Macon, MO; Bentonville, AR; and lastly, Blackjack, MO. Donna also taught at the Christian schools in Gravette, AR and Kirksville, MO.

Donna enjoyed attending church! She also enjoyed reading, sewing, quilting, giving piano lessons, playing the piano and organ, singing, teaching Sunday School, and making delicious donuts for family and friends.

For approximately eighteen years she has lived in rural Spencerville, IN and has been a member of the Lost Creek Emmanuel Missionary Church in Farmer, OH. There she served as pianist, Sunday School teacher, and missionary reporter. Her consistent Christian life influenced many and she was held in high regard by those who knew her. Her merry heart and positive outlook sustained her in a life well lived.

Preceding Donna in death were her husband, Donald; her parents; one daughter, LaVona Osborn; one great-grandson, Finnley Martin; four sisters, Jessie Gossman, Susie Gosch, Flossie Tippin, and Helen Gruver, and two brothers, LaRoy and William E.

Survivors include: Ronald (Grace) Martin of Spencerville, IN; Doneta (Glen) Lawrence of Spring Hill, TN; Celesta Cunningham of Fulton, MO; Rachel (Doug) Billington of Kirksville, MO; Doyle (Heidi) Martin of Celina, TX; and Son-in-law Jeff Osborn of Greentop, MO; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
