Obituary
Mildred Ann (Stone) Keith, age 75, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away January 21, 2021, at CMH Hospital in Bolivar, Missouri. She was born March 27, 1945, to Loyd Stone, Sr., and Margaret (Keller) Stone in Fort Morgan, Colorado. She attended schools in Colorado, Nebraska, and in El Dorado Springs.

Mildred met the love of her life, Donald Keith, Sr., and they married January 29, 1963. To their union two sons whom she was so proud of were born, Donald, Jr., and James (Jim) Allen.

Mildred worked as a custodian for the El Dorado Springs school district and for Home Furnishings until her health caused her to retire.

Mildred was always one to help anyone in need. She was so detail oriented with her paper and pen. Every morning she would sit at her table and listen to Party Line. She would write down everything so if someone needed a specific item all she had to do was go through her tablet and find it. We learned to not even try to call her during Party Line because she wouldn’t answer the phone because she didn’t want to miss anything. She loved spending time with her family doing crafts, collecting Beanie Babies, and she had a fondness for Angels and Ballerinas.

Mildred was known by many loving nicknames: Mother, Grandma, Moo-Maw, Wheels, Millie; she would answer each one with a big loving smile. She and Donnie enjoyed cookouts with the family, who always looked forward to her famous hot rolls. Together they hosted the Keith Family Reunion every May. She spent her retirement years at home with Donnie and her beloved Molly.

Preceding Mildred in death were her parents, Loyd and Margaret; sister, Susie Beasley; step-mother, Mary Stone; step-father, Ross Frederick; mother-in-law, Frasa; brothers-in-law: Dwight, Bobby, Clint, Calvin, Bill, Cap, and Charles Keith; and sister-in-law, Florene Adams.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-seven years, Donald, Sr., and their dog, Molly, of the home; two sons and their wives, Donald, Jr., and Stephanie, and James (Jim) and Bonnie, of El Dorado Springs; brother, Loyd Stone, Jr., and wife, Sue, of El Dorado Springs; step-sister, Felicia Bohrer and husband, Joe, of El Dorado Springs; eleven grandchildren: Johnathan and Candice Leonard, Rachael and Randy Drake, Brandi Deckard, Chelsea and Justin Jacobs, James Allen, Jr., and Whitney Keith, April Campbell, Matthew and Katti Keith, Wyatt Keith and Laykin, Makayla Keith, Mandy Nikodim and Tom, Josh Nikodim and Jordan; twenty-one great-grandchildren with two more on the way; and a host of nieces and nephews who will miss their Aunt Millie.
