Cornelius Glenn Tuder, age 98, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021. Glenn was born October 11, 1922, in Cedar County, Missouri, to Orvis Glenn and Bessie Pearl (Bower) Tuder. He worked on the family farm and attended Pleasant Ridge School through the eighth grade.
Glenn married Ila Elaine Bliss on August 28, 1943, and they were married for seventy-three years. He then served in the U.S. Army during WWII, serving in France, Belgium, and Germany, and taking part in the Battle of the Bulge. When he returned from the war, he worked for Dairy Concepts for twenty-seven years, while also doing carpentry work and working his eighty acre farm. He and Ila loved to travel, but Glenn didnít want to be away from home for too long.
Preceding Glenn in death were his wife, Ila; his son, Dennis Tuder; and his parents.
Survivors include his daughter, Glenda Heisel, of Arizona; his sister, Bonnie Ruebush, of Illinois; and nieces, Marvel and Ivan Smith, of Osceola, MO, and Carol Lee Hart, of Kansas City, MO.
