Benjamin S. Lambeth was blessed to go see his family in heaven December 29, 2020. Dad was born to parentísVirgil and Lucinda Lambeth September 27, 1935 in South Central Missouri near Moody, not far from West Plains. He was the youngest of 7 brothers and sisters and all worked on the family farm as kids.
Dad graduated West Plains High School in 1953 and worked a variety of jobs before starting a career at Sears Roebuck and Co in Kansas City, MO. Sears was a part of Dadís professional life for 35+ years, nearly half of that in El Dorado Springs.
In KC, he met his wife, Betty of 59+ years at Sears and they were blessed with three sons, Stephen, Kevin and Jeff.
Dad was always a family man first and foremost, believed in providing the best life possible for his family and lived his life fulfilling that obligation.
He loved his family dearly and his leadership showed by the success his three sons have had with very successful careers and blessed families. He would do anything for any family member and passed that passion on to his sons. Dad also loved his 5 grandkids, Matt, Mike, Jessica, Connor and Patrick and his 5 great granddaughters, Lanie, Piper, Brynn, Taylor, and Amelia. Weíve all been blessed in so many ways to have a Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle and Friend such as our Dad. Even though Dad lost the Covid-19 battle, Dad won the Battler of Life and left this world a better place!
In lieu of flowers, our family ask for a donation to the Alzheimerís Association Ė Greater Missouri Chapter,www.alz.org in our Dadís memory. Our hope is to help others fighting Dementia and Alzheimerís disease.
Dad will be laid to rest next to Mom at the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery on 1/4/21 in a private ceremony.
