Alan Dean Gray, age 41, of Bolivar, Missouri, previously of El Dorado Springs, passed away at CMH on December 24, 2020. Alan was born on July 30, 1979, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, the son of Stanley A. Gray and Lana (Pettibon) Gray.

Alan married Tara Moore on April 23, 2001, and they were married for six years. To their union two children were born, Chance D. Gray and Alexa G. Gray.

Alan was a dedicated, hard worker. He worked twenty years burying telephone cable and eventually worked his way up to being foreman of a crew. Alan worked diligently and efficiently and took great pride in his work. Recently, Alan worked at Stockton Seed House and was commended on what a hard worker he was.

Alan was a big hearted, loving, caring, family man. He was a hard worker, very loyal, giving, always willing to lend a hand, the kind to give you the shirt off of his back. He was funny, charismatic, life of the party, fun to be around, and loved by all. Alan was very involved with his family, and he was a good provider and protector of his family. Family was of the utmost importance to him. He loved his children more than anything in the world. Alan was a very knowledgeable individual. If he didnít know the answer to something, he would find the answer for you. He was always determined to get the job done.

Mourning the loss of Alan will be multiple friends, family, and coworkers from past and present.

Alan had a great love of music, dancing, and having a good time. He enjoyed tickling, tormenting, and wrestling with his children as well as his nieces and nephews. He also had a love for working on cars and shooting guns.

Preceding Alan in death were his mother, Lana (Pettibon) Gray; his maternal grandparents, Wendell and Ethel Pettibon; and his paternal grandparents, Leo and Florence Gray.
