Raymond Thomas Jasnocha, age 79, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away June 11, 2018. He was born November 23, 1938, to Frederick and Mary (Koran) Jasnocha in Chicago, IL, and was known as “Polock.”
He began his working career as a machinist, but most of his life he was a truck driver. He was once the “truck driver of the year” and was on the front page of a Truck Driving Magazine. He drove for Gary Collins for eleven years. He loved piddling with cars and trucks. He once built a Model T Coupe.
Ray married Doris Reeves on October 26, 1996. He loved his children and grandchildren and called them every couple of weeks just to see what they were up to.
Ray was very opinionated and ornery on the outside, but on the inside he had the biggest heart and would do anything for you.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Mary Jasnocha, and one sister, Elizabeth M. Bahret.
Survivors include: his wife, Doris E. Jasnocha, of the home; four children: Doreen Scarborough and husband, Carl, Rae Ann Bradley, Leonard Jasnocha and wife, Tonya, Lorraine Linnabery and husband, Michael; one step-son, Randall E. Barker, and wife, Christina; one sister, Carol Ann Throw; eleven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
