Fannie Louise Elliott, age 77, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away suddenly in her home on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. She was born March 27, 1938 to Jesse P. and Addie Blanch (Stewart) Jennings in St. Clair County, MO.
Fannie was saved and baptized at an early age. She was raised on the family farm. She worked her entire adult life for and retired from Dunbrooke shirt and jacket factory.
Fannie married Edward W. Elliott on December 24, 1955. To this union three children were born: Douglas Edward, Debra Gayle and Brenda Kay.
Preceding her in death were her siblings: Faye Bogart, Stella Hallford, Frank Jennings, Mary Ketchum, and Helen Frickenschmidt.
Survivors include her husband Edward of the home; one son, Doug Elliott and wife Kathy of Sedalia, MO; two daughters: Debra Cato and husband Stephen of Lamar, MO, and Brenda Morris and husband Bryan of El Dorado Springs, MO; twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers: John Jennings, George Jennings and wife Jerri, and Tom Jennings and wife Patsy; and two sisters: Dolly Moore and husband John, and Marge Hacker.
Funeral services for Fannie Elliott were held on Friday, January 8, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Bryan Morris officiating. Burial followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were: Jeremy Henderson, Michael Bell, Dwain Bell, Jeremy Watkins, Jarod Elliott, Adam Templeton, Shane Lakin, and Michael Harper.
