Mark Eugene Hill, age 43, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed from this life March 29, 2011. He was born February 23, 1968, in El Dorado Springs to Marvin and Marjorie (Schiereck) Hill.
Mark attended and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School in 1986. He worked for many years as a construction worker. He was a member of The Fraternal Order of the Eagles, was a volunteer fireman, and in his younger days was a member of the Boy Scouts of America.
His hobbies and interests included: NASCAR, golf, bowling, baseball, football, trap shooting, 4-wheeling, and riding ATVs. Four words that would describe Mark are: funny, dependable, honest, and passionate. Relationships that had a big influence on his life were: his grandfather Schiereck, Walt Anderson, Leo Green, Howard Simmons, and Kenny Hamilton.
Mark is survived by his parents, Marvin and Marjorie Hill of Willard, Missouri; a sister Marsha (Hill) Fewell and her husband Franklin of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Mark Hill were held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Bland-Hackleman Chapel with Rev. Jack Daniel officiating. Paula Newman provided music. Interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Jim Simrell, Bill Simrell, Brandon Simrell, Jarrod Schiereck, Bret Schiereck and Kenny F. Hamilton. Honorary pallbearers were Howard Simmons, Roman Althoff, Tracy Price, Kent Bland and Kenny Hamilton.
