Obituary
Jimmie “Mae” Villines, age 90, of El Dorado Springs, MO, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2011. She was residing at John Knox Village Care Center for the past 3 ˝ years.

Mae was born in Newton County, Arkansas, to James Talmage “Tal” and Nancy Orlena “Lena” (House) Villines on May 2, 1920. Her five siblings were Erbie Coleman, Claude Villines, Alma Woodell, Evelyn Grossman and Christine Brasel.

She married William “Dowl” Villines on February 14, 1948 and had one son two years later. Mae was a loving Christian wife, mother and grandmother. She was a Sunday School teacher and song leader for an Assembly of God church for over 50 years and a blessing to everyone who knew her.

Jimmie “Mae” Villines is survived by her husband, William “Dowl” Villines; her son, C. Allen Villines; two grandchildren: Martin Villines and Heidi Villines-Moretina; two great-grandchildren: Brooke and Mackenzie Moretina; two sisters: Evelyn Grossman and Christine Brasel; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 4, 2011, beginning at 12:30 p.m. until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in El Dorado Springs, MO, with Pastor Dana Taylor officiating.

A graveside memorial will be held at Gaither Cemetery in Boone County, Arkansas, on Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 1:00 p.m.
