Obituary
Paul Haines, age 81, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, left this world from the loving arms of his family and was received into the arms of our Lord October 9, 2013.

Paul (Pappy) Haines was born January 30, 1932, in Cedar County, Missouri, to Reuben and Kate (Berning) Haines.

He worked many years as a lineman and foreman in the power line industry working all over the United States and climbed his last pole at age 73. Paul was a warm soul, always with a good story to tell and a joke to brighten your day. He will be missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife Joyce, and six brothers.

Paul is survived by his daughter Teresa Kripp and husband Andrew, two sons, Jay and Terry Haines, his granddaughter Ava Kripp, his grandson Ryan Kripp, brother Richard Haines and wife Bonnie, sister-in-law Peggy Bruce and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Paul Haines were held Saturday, October 12, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Brent Bland officiating. Burial followed in Sandridge Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were: Andrew Kripp, Teresa Kripp, Jay Haines, Terry Haines, and Jason Bruce. Honorary pallbearers were: Richard Haines, Ava Kripp, and Ryan Kripp.
