Obituary
Judy K. Spencer, age 64, of Osceola, MO passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012, at her home. She was born February 22, 1948, in Taberville, MO, to Lester and Amy (Mann) Hays.

On September 21, 1965, Judy married Steve Spencer. Judy was known as a great cook, feeding many family members, friends of her kids, and neighbors. She worked as a dietician at Truman Lake Manor, Sac Osage Hospital, and Osceola Public Schools. Judy and Steve went on many trail rides, wagon trains, and fishing trips on Truman Lake.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Beverly Hays, Eva Scotten and Carolyn Morerod.

She is survived by her husband, Steve Spencer; two daughters, Julie Dill and husband Jerry of Warsaw and Lisa Sommer and husband Gary of Osceola; one son, Randy Spencer of Osceola; one sister, Ruby McConnaughey of El Dorado Springs; and two brothers, Glen Hays of Walker and Gene Hays of El Dorado Springs. Judy was a proud grandma of six grandchildren: Amy, Ashley, Buddy, Kayla, Zackary, and Maranda. Judy loved spending time with her five great grandchildren: Emmagail, Ella, Jaylen, Jaxson, and Gunnar.

Services were held on Monday, December 24, 2012, at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home in El Dorado Springs, MO, with visitation at 1:00 PM followed by services at 2:00 PM. Rev. Larry Sherman officiated. Judy was laid to rest at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Dedrick, MO, under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Randy Spencer, Buddy Dill, Gary Sommer, Zackary Sommer, Jerry Dill, and Glen Hays.
