Obituary
William Francis Beck, age 93, of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2012, at the Cedar County Memorial Hospital in El Dorado Springs, Missouri.

He was the son of the late Edward and Etta Mae [Rothgeb] Beck. He was born on February 12, 1919 at Gallia County, Ohio. He was primarily a farmer for most of his life, but at times had worked in some factories and for Denison University in Ohio. He had resided in Gallia, Licking and Knox Counties, Ohio until 1977 when he relocated to the El Dorado Springs, Missouri area.

He is survived by his; daughter Delora [Walter] Bruah of Newark, Ohio; son, William [Cheryl] Beck, of Moran, Kansas; daughter, Judy [Noah] Davies of Newark, Ohio; daughter, Rose Ann [Bill] Reeder of El Dorado Springs, Missouri; daughter Debra [David] June of Woodbury, Minnesota; daughter, Vicki [Tom] Bibb of Webb City, Missouri; sister-in-law Helena Lear of Gallipolis, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Delora Alma [Lear} Beck, whom he married on June 11, 1938; one brother and three sisters; and a son-in-law.

Funeral services for Mr. Beck will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home with Walter Bruah officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, El Dorado Springs, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 6 - 7 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2012. Arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
