Robert George Clark, age 88, of Boise, Idaho, formerly of El Dorado Springs, Missouri, passed away March 15, 2012. He was born January 10, 1924, to Lawson and Evaline (Harris) Clark in Rolla, Missouri.
Robert served as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II and for a period of time was a prisoner of war in Germany.
Robert was married to Katherine Godfrey/Allen on August 30, 1958, in Independence, MO. His working career included: Bendix Aviation in Kansas City, MO; Fram Corporation in Nevada, MO; and as a janitor in Boise, ID. While his health permitted he enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.
Robert was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church.
Preceding him in death was his wife Katherine.
Survivors include five step-children: Barton Godfrey of El Dorado Springs, MO; John Godfrey of Warrensburg, MO; Vern Godfrey of Warrensburg, MO; Vonda Barber of Boise, ID; and Dresda Godfry of Boise, ID; several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in El Dorado Springs. Arrangements are under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.
